Jessica Puckett was born in Daphne, AL. She started dancing at the age of 2 at Susan‘s Academy of Dance in Daphne. Throughout the duration of dancing with Susan’s, she performed in many places such as Disney World, Royal Caribbean cruise lines, and the Macy‘s Thanksgiving Day Parade. She studied under esteemed choreographers like Eric John Campros, Jeffry Williams, Michael McBain, Jason Myhre, Nick Long, and many others. Her senior year of high school, Jess received the Hollywood Dance Experience (HDE) Walk of Fame Scholarship, which allows her to return to HDE and participate in classes free for a lifetime. As she graduated from McGill-Tollen Catholic HS at the age of 17, she moved to Hattiesburg, MS, where she attended the University of Southern Mississippi. There, she was an active member of USM’s dance department, making the Repretory Dance Company (RDC) as a freshman and continued a member until her graduation. She studied under Elizabeth Lentz-Hill, Shellie Nielsen, Meredith Robertson-Early (now Sutton), Rebecca McArthur, Julie White, and Stacy Reischman-Fletcher. She also spear-headed the reconstruction of Chi Tau Epsilon greek organization, where she was a secretary her sophomore year and president her junior year. Jess graduated the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelors in Fine Arts Dance Performance and Choreography, and landed a job with a professional dance company shortly after. She danced with the Melange Dance Company in New Orleans, LA for a year before moving to Gulfport, MS. She has since moved back home to teach and choreograph at local studios in the Gulf Coast area.
