Jaleesa Poindexter

Jaleesa began dancing at the age of two and continued through college. She grew up dancing at Wilkerson Dance studio in Greenfield Indiana, then joined the Greenfield Golden Girls, where she performed at several events around Indiana including Indiana Pacers basketball games. Also during her senior year summer camp at NDA, she won the title of All-American giving her an opportunity to perform in London. Along with competing on her schools team she also took tumbling lessons at Indiana Gymnast to work on acrobatic skills. Jaleesa attended Eckerd college where she was a member of the Riptides dance team all four years and performed at sporting events and waterfront events. She was selected Team Captain her senior year where she was in charge of planning events, choreographing team routines, and even choreographed the end of the year showcase.
