In 2021, Katherine and her family moved here from Birmingham, AL. Trained in classical ballet and pointe, she has been dancing since she was ten years old, and teaching since she was 14. At the age of 14, Katherine was asked to join the preforming group at her ballet school. There, she was able to preform multiple times a year locally and internationally. In the summers of 2011 and 2012, she was able to preform in Ireland and Northern Ireland, as well as teach several dance camps to the children there. Also in summers, Katherine branched out of classical ballet and was able to partake in jazz, modern, and hip hop dance with Atlanta ballet, Project Dance, and Ballet Magnificat!
After graduation of high school, she continued her teaching career in every genre of dance and her favorite thing to do is teach her daughters ballet!
“I believe that dance is an outlet for yourself that can express your emotions and thoughts even better than words can sometimes. I have never get more myself than when I am dancing. But more than that, I believe that it is a true discipline. Dance is hard!!! But the discipline, the creativity, the power, and strength that you feel is something that is irreplaceable.”
